a growing problem

Every minute a million plastic bottles are bought around the world, most of these will end up on landfill or in the ocean and as that number increases it is estimated that by 2050 our oceans will contain more plastic by the weight than fish.

And when you consider that traditional apparel production uses virgin natural and chemical resources, which puts massive pressure on our environment, the logic becomes crystal clear.

Making fabrics from used PET bottles is not only fashion-forward but also a moral and ethical responsibility to future generations, and a step forward into a cleaner more sustainable industry.

• 40,000 waste beverage bottles can be used for each ton of recycled colored polyester yarn.
• 6-8 PET bottles can be used to make a football top and shorts.
